Knate Lee

Knate Lee is a film/TV director, writer, and producer who has worked with some of the biggest IPs in the business including Marvel, Stephen King, Tyler The Creator, VICE, and one merry band of pranksters.

As a film director, Knate helmed Thomas Haden Church and Terrence Howard's indie drama"Cardboard Boxer". On TV, he directed the 10-episode VICE comedy series "Jasper & Errol's First Time". As a film producer, Knate has produced most of the beloved "Jackass" franchise, including three films that opened at #1. He's produced television series for icons like Tyler The Creator ("Loiter Squad") and Travis Pastrana ("Nitro Circus"), culminating in producing Stephen King's magnum opus "The Stand" for Paramount. In addition to writing "The Stand", Knate has written several films including Halle Berry's car chasethriller "Kidnap", Marvel's X-Men spinoff "The New Mutants", and the SXSW Official Selection "Hail Mary". His latest writing/directing project is the Tovota x SiriusXM short film "Tea Time" produced by Sweatpants Media.
